941-504-6345Mike Faber of Florida SunCoast Real Estate has been a local Bradenton and Sarasota Florida real estate sales professional since moving to Florida from the Baltimore, D.C area in 2002. Formerly of RE/MAX Alliance Group for 13 years, Mike has an extensive background which includes residential home sellers and buyers, short sales, foreclosures, land sales, luxury homes, second home buyers and investors. Mike holds the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation, assisting homeowners navigating the intricate short sale process. He is also a member Realtor Association of Sarasota Manatee Global Business Council. His other awards include many years as a 100% Club recipient and the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, an award given to those realtors earning in excess of $1,000,000 in their career at RE/MAX.
In June of 2016 Mike was selected as a representative to Manatee County Affordable Housing Coalition Advisory Committee which oversaw how municipal funds were allocated to home buyers needing down payment assistance to achieve their dream of buying their own home.
On the local level, Mike believes in giving back to the community where he works and lives. He has volunteered at Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT), a local Bradenton charity that provides backpacks containing food for the weekends to Manatee County homeless and underprivileged elementary & middle school children. The organization packs and distributes these backpacks that total over 12,000+ meals every school year. Mike also has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and when time allows also gives of his time at Southeast Guide Dogs here in Manatee County.
On a personal level, Mike has been happily married to his wife Wanda going on 14yrs and is a supportive “step up father” to 2 grown kids and Popi to 2 grandkids Austin and Clara. He is also an avid dog lover and has rescued several dogs over the last 10yrs and supports those local animal rescues when time allows. When not selling homes, Mike spends his time with his family, “holding off Father Time” at the gym and many other outdoor activities living in Florida affords him.
Throughout Mike’s real estate career he has held fast to the mantra of “People before Profits.”
